Hello! So glad you stopped by!
Honestly I just liked the words gray and Tuesday together. I
thought it was catchy and not a cheesy title for a Christian women’s blog. Like
‘Jesus Ladies’, which could be shortened to something cooler like ‘Jadies’…
I started to really
think about what Gray Tuesday might actually mean or look like. When you’re in
the midst of a crazy week and ‘life’ seems to be whirling around you, wouldn’t
a gray or rainy day be refreshing? I think there’s something so peaceful about
a gray day. (Though I think there are entirely too many of them here in Ohio!)
What if on that gray rainy day you could curl up on the couch, ALONE, with a
book and a cup of tea? Or catch up with a girlfriend.
What if a Gray Tuesday moment was a chance for you to
actually do those things? To pause in the chaos and have a moment of peace. A
moment of clarity. A moment alone. A moment to share a smile, a laugh or tear
with a friend. A moment for God to whisper in your ear. To tell you you’re
loved, you’re beautiful. You have purpose, that you matter.
My hope and vision is that through this ministry both
non-Christian and Christian women have the opportunity to experience a ‘Gray
Tuesday’ moment whenever you have the time or most need it. All are welcome here.
All are welcome at the feet of Jesus and I pray that Gray Tuesday is an avenue
for you to meet Him there.
This will be a community that seeks to speak truth. It will
support, encourage and engage women of all ages and walks of life to be real
and relevant in our crazy mixed up culture.
Gray Tuesday will focus on three main aspects:
1. Bible/book study
2. 4th Fridays - hang out with the girls!
3. Testimonies/stories of lives transformed by God
